Large Capacity Vertical Milk Cooling Tank
1.Features of the Milk Cooling Tank
Milk silo is a kind of outdoor and indoor stainless steel container used to store fresh milk at low temperature.
As for its thermal insulation structure (or a refrigerating jacket adopted) between inner walls and external cover,
as well as for the function of high speed propeller agitator in the tank, fresh milk entering the milk silo with low temperature( ≤ 5 C ) could be stored for 24 hours, with temperature rise not exceeding 2 C , and fats not floating upward. Thus, it could be
widely used to store fresh milk indoors and outdoors at dairy products plants.
This device has a columnshaped exterior surface, the inner cavity of milk silo and the parts contacting materials are made of SUS304-2B stainless steel plates, while the outer plates are made of SUS 3042B stainless steel plates of plastic corrugated plates as per users' requirements.
The access ladder is installed on the side of milk silo,
and the stainless steel protection fence (also on platform), respiratory valve, and rotating sprayer are set on the top. At the lower part of milk silo,
there's one small indoor working room, inside which are elliptical manhole, high speed propeller agitator, feed & discharge hole, thermometer,
pressure transducer, sampling valve, and cleaner. Besides, insulation materials are filled between inner and outer walls of the milk silo (rock wools or poly urethane foam to be filled as per users' requirements).
